myAOL - my.aol.com
myAOL wireframes Problem: An initiative was handed down to revamp myAOL to be more Yahoo-like in nature, and bring the service into the web 2.0 era by making myAOL as interactive and dynamic as My Yahoo, Netvibes, Pageflakes, etc.

Solution: A cross-functional team was assembled to define the new design of myAOL, including the processes for creating modules from start to finish, from UI to visual design, to the backend architecture.

My Contributions: I was tasked with creating the wireframes and flows for all new modules based on requirements handed off from our product manager. These modules were of every type, from a Mail module, to a Restaurant Listings module, to a Video Search module. The number of new module requests from the business team came in so quickly, that eventually requirements were no longer written, and I worked closely with our product manager to define all new requirements in real time, as UI was needed.

In order to keep up with the pace of new module requests, I took on the front-end html and CSS for some modules so that developers could focus on backend code. We were also short on visual design resources, so I took this on for the modules as well, creating visual standards documentation to keep module front-end development consistent.
