AOL Mgnet Mgnet (pronounced magnet) is a patented online recommendation system that is part of the suite of myAOL products. It makes use of a fun, interactive image cloud representing videos, audio clips, and articles/links. Users click these images that interest them, and the system “learns” more about the user. This, along with a thumbs up/down rating system allows the content to become more and more tailored to users’ interests as time goes along.
