Mgnet (pronounced magnet) is a patented online recommendation system that is part of the suite of myAOL products. It makes use of a fun, interactive image cloud representing videos, audio clips, and articles/links. Users click these images that interest them, and the system “learns” more about the user. This, along with a thumbs up/down rating system allows the content to become more and more tailored to users’ interests as time goes along

myAOL is a representative of the latest and greatest in quintessential online personalization widget pages. Similar to Netvibes, Pageflakes, and My Yahoo, users can add modules of all types to their page(s) and rearrange/customize them to their liking

AOL Pictures allows users unlimited storage of all their photos in their original resolution. It contains exceptional photo management and sharing capabilities. Photo sharing can be either private, or public, using AOL Public Galleries, a Flickr-like photo sharing and community application (service discontinued)

Project "Yumi"

With project Yumi, we set out to create a new pictures product based on research about what users want with regard to storage, organization, and sharing of their pictures. We worked to create a concept that encompassed everything that users would want to do with their pictures, both in the creative and practical senses. (service discontinued)
